Kuala Lumpur, 23 October 2014 - HELP University and its Technology Partner, Ricoh (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd are poised to extend their current collaboration ties with creating a bigger and more comprehensive Innotech Centre for HELP students.
The relationship that was formed in 2008 has resulted in the creation of the ‘Innotech Centre’, an “incubator” for students to cultivate knowledge, as well as a one-stop digital office technology and print centre, furnished completely with RICOH’s production printers that serve the needs of HELP students and the surrounding business community.
The expansion plans will have the centre focus on three key areas, which include Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management and will come equipped with RICOH’s new and improved services covering all printing requirements from 3D printing to T-Shirt printing, stationary, and state-of-the-art finishing tools, to even catering to students’ design work requirements.
“Over the years, we have seen the Innotech centre grow tremendously, with a progressive increase of our students’ intake and curriculum that has been complemented with advanced technology. We see this as the perfect opportunity to expand our scope of services, and there is no better organization that we would see fit for this role other than Ricoh (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.,” said HELP University's President Datuk Dr. Paul Chan.
HELP University will provide graduates with internship opportunities, to expose them to RICOH’s business model, in hopes of inspiring them to kick start their very own business through various training programmes developed by the two organisations.
“Our partnership over the years have turned this centre into an education hub, making it a platform especially for the Young Entrepreneurs Club (YEC), who will be encouraged to improve their entrepreneurship skills through the use of forward thinking and innovative tools as provided by RICOH,” adds Datuk Dr. Paul Chan.
