Kuala Lumpur, 16 April 2013 - In a constantly changing world, many entrepreneurs and business leaders today are in constant search for ways by which to expand rapidly, and even venture into foreign countries. The “Possibilities are limitless” mantra has long been the drive of many businessmen out there.
With this in mind, Ricoh (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) organized an exclusive business conference, specifically for corporate leaders.
The conference was split into two sessions – the first session started at 9am that focused on Ace your Global Expansion Strategy. This first session panel comprised of Tan Sri Dato Michael Yeoh, co-Founder & CEO of the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI), Mr. Cheng Ping Keat, Group CEO of Khind Holdings Berhad and Mr.Lau Bik Soon, Group CEO of REdtone International Bhd.
The second session started at 2pm on the topic of Building Business through Innovation & Creativity. In this session, the panel comprised of Mr. Abu Saffian Abu Bakar, Vice President & Head of Strategic Investment, Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) and Dato’ Mohd. Razali Hussain, Director General, Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).
“We are proud to organize this conference to provide a platform for leaders to exchange knowledge on the two selected topics. Through this conference, the participants were able to identify and address the current management and leadership issues in a better way, as renowned captains of industry have provided a great deal of insight into their successful and proven techniques,” said Peter Wee, Chief Operating Officer of Ricoh (Malaysia).
The conference also incorporated an open Q&A session where participants voiced their questions to the respective panels.
Peter added “From this inspiring conference, I believe we are now one step ahead in making a positive difference in companies while, generating positive growth to our economy. With that, I must say that it will be our plan to continue to organize more business conferences and invite leaders from other industries to share their great stories of success to inspire others.”
The business conference ended successfully at 5pm and about 120 corporate leaders attended this event.
