Ricoh Malaysia collaboration with Malaysian Nature Society -
Ricoh (M'sia) Sdn Bhd and Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) is in a joint venture for 2 year for a collaborative project on the mangrove forest restoration.The collaborative project has chosen the Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP), which is located 60km north of Kuala Lumpur, to restore and conserve. The Mangrove Forest Recovery Project is Ricoh’s 12th project aimed at building a framework for continuous forest conservation. According to Ricoh, KSNP has been designated by BirdLife International and its Partner Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) as an Important Bird Area, with sightings of over 150 species of birds in its brackish water lake system. Let us not forget about the abundance of small-animals, fishes, amphibians and reptiles such as the Silvered Leaf-monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, Otters, Mudskippers and Fiddler Crabs, that can be found around the nature park.
